International Cooperation
The objectives of the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek’s (henceforth: FABSO’s) cooperation with the international institutions and the economy are the internationalization of studies, encouragement of research excellence and interdisciplinarity, promotion and recognition, openness to the economy and other activities, international networking, acquisition of transversal skills, and professional development of researchers. One of the goals is to contribute to the development of an open, mobile, and innovative society. Internationalization is one of the most important mechanisms to ensure the quality of Faculty’s activities.
Taking into account an increasingly competitive higher educational market, an increase in the number of academic mobilities, joint publications by international research teams, joint study programs, and the like, Faculty’s internationalization is more important than ever. The intensity of international cooperation is an indicator of activity and quality of scientific research, teaching, and professional work at an institution.
The Faculty’s international cooperation activities are managed by the Vice Dean for International Cooperation and Studies in English and the Office for International Cooperation and Projects.
