The Department of Bioeconomics and Rural Development consists of four subdepartments with a total of nineteen employees, fourteen of whom are the Doctors of Sciences, one holds a master’s degree in Agronomy, one a master’s degree in the English Language and Literature and Pedagogy, one is a university specialist in Mathematics, and two of them are the lecturers of Physical Education. Seven Doctors of Sciences hold the scientific‐teaching title of a Full Professor, two are the Associate Professors, three are the Assistant Professors, and two hold the associate titles of a Teaching Assistant. The Department of Bieconomics and Rural Development conducts classes in professional, undergraduate, and graduate studies, as well as in the postgraduate specialist studies in Agricultural Management and in the doctoral studies in Agroeconomics. In addition to the teaching duties, the Department’s faculty participates in the scientific research and professional work on the projects, as well as in the project activities financed by the European Union.
