The Department of Agricultural Technology and Renewable Energy Sources is comprised of four subdepartments, with nineteen employees. Out of the eighteen Doctors of Sciences, six hold the title a tenured Full Professor, three hold the title of a Full Professor, two hold the title of an Associate Professor, four hold the title of an Assistant Professor, two hold the title of a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, and one holds the title of a Teaching Assistant. One Master of Science holds the title of Teaching Assistant. The Department faculty conducts the classes according to the applicable study programs of the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, participate in the Postgraduate University Study Program in Agricultural Sciences with a major in Technical Systems in Agriculture, and perform scientific and professional activities in agricultural technology, mechanization, mechanical engineering, and other related fields.

Four subdepartments have been established within the Department:

• Subdepartment of Machines and Devices in Plant Production
• Subdepartment of Geoinformation Technologies and GIS
