2022 Summer School

CEEPUS International Summer School: Traditional Slavonian Village

For the third consecutive year, the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek organized an International Summer School from 4 to 8 July 2022, this time under the title of Traditional Slavonian Village.

The International Summer School was organized within the CEEPUS Mobility Program, and the Faculty had an opportunity to host ten teachers and students from four partner institutions: the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences from Vienna in Austria, the University of Ostrava in the Czech Republic, the Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine King Michael Ⅰ of Romania from Timisoara in Romania, and the University of Kragujevac in Serbia.

The students and teachers had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the work of the Faculty and of the University, visit the Experimental Sites, and learn something about the importance of a traditional Slavonian village in the agricultural production of Slavonia. As a part of the Summer School, the students and teachers had an opportunity to visit the Papuk and Kopački rit Nature Parks and learn about the agricultural potential of Baranja.
